ABOUT
Composer. Trumpeter. Storyteller.
Sean Schafer Hennessy is a film and television composer and trumpeter. A protégé of Wynton Marsalis, he made his concerto debut with the Colorado Symphony at 13 and has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. He studied at Northwestern University and completed USC’s Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program.
That performer’s instinct drives his scores: heartfelt melody, rich and dramatic orchestration, real suspense, and a light touch for comedy. He thinks of himself as the actor unseen, giving characters and places a voice the audience feels before they notice it.
